Tools

You will need wire strippers, needlenose pliers, and a soldering iron.

Materials

You will need wire, a circuit board, solder, and the circuit components pictured below.

The diagram of the voltage regulator shows which pins are for input (3), output (2), and adjustment (1). The bridge rectifier will have its four legs marked, ~, ~ for the A.C. input, and +, -, for the D.C. output.

The transformer needed to supply low voltage A.C. is not pictured.
