This unit starts by measuring temperature. In the first activity, you will
learn about a number of different temperature sensors, and the value of
each. With these, the second activity gives you a chance to measure many
different temperatures and get familiar with different temperature scales.
Heat is a concept often confused with temperature. The third activity lets
you "mess around" with some experiments that help illustrate the
difference between the two. In the last activity, you learn how gasses react
to temperature and use that to make a gas thermometer.
